It is surrounded by a beautiful grape vine canopy, which casts a most welcome shadow on the lawn, from June to October. At the back of the house, there is a large garden with fresh fruits and vegetables (tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers, peas, potatoes and a large selection of herbs), at our guests' disposal. The little barn was partly converted into a large pavilion, for quiet summer evenings, and a platform with a barbecue grill.
When you enter the Bierzahn House, you will find a kitchenette to your left, with modern appliances (a 2 ring ceran cooking field, coffee machine, fridge, electric kettle, toaster etc.), and a little seating area on your right, featuring a traditional Saxon bench and 2 armchairs. From the veranda, the doors lead to the 2 bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds. All furniture is made of Carpathian oak by our master carpenter Ferensz, and we paid special attention to a coherent design style, interpreting Saxon and Romanian traditions. Another small bedroom, with a bunk bed, can be found in what used to be the “summer kitchen”. Please note that this room is only accessed by a separate entrance from the garden (3 meters from the main house). The house has a central heating system, complemented by fully functional tiled stoves in the bedrooms.
In your house you will find a HANDY smartphone, which is your communication companion during your stay. The device will have a unique mobile number for you during your stay and allows you to make FREE local and international mobile calls, browse the internet and send messages to the reception. It also contains information on local attractions and other useful tools to make your stay more comfortable and engaging!
